Mark has been involved in Classic Car racing since the mid 1980's, initially in his 1969 Cooper S at meetings such as Wings & Wheels and Porche Le Mans.
Acquiring an Alfa Romeo Sud TI in 1986 and membership of the Alfa Romeo Owners Club NZ it was a natural progression to Alfa's dedicated series - The Alfa Romeo Trofeo Series.
Mark and Wendy & Olive (the race car) have been active in the Series over the past few years attending most of the 10 meetings per season. The Trofeo Series consists of over 50 likeminded nutters who race their hearts out and socialise enthusiastically together. Our meeting grids are commonly 30 plus cars making an impressive spectacle.In the best 'if you can't beat them... join them' tradition Wendy obtained her National Race Licence in March 2006. She is current chairman of the Alfa Romeo Trofeo Series.
