The history of this residential inner city site included use as a factory and one time stables for the Hellaby Butchery's delivery horses. The design references strong industrial elements, construction appropriately used plastered concrete block and site glazed openings. The remains of the brick stable structure were retained as an al fresco living area and provides a juxtaposition to the modern form of the home.
