Undoubtably one of the greatest challenges currently facing the built environment is the remediation of houses where systems and materials have failed the weather tightness integrity of the home. Restoring the fabric & integrity of the building allows an opportunity to use durable materials to address weather tightness issues also affords the opportunity of updating the styling of the home, working with the original planning sensibly. In this project re-cladding with Nu Wall aluminium weather boards and re-roofing with Metalcraft long run roofing are utilised to give this architectural home its new start. Additional systems are incorporated into the document set & construction management to ensure a successful project. We will be updating progress of this home as it re-emerges as an architectural asset.
